Steve Parker, Jr. is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Levelwing, a firm that creates digital marketing and business intelligence solutions, mining and analyzing data to help businesses market and operate with greater clarity and profitability. Founded in 2002, Levelwing operates in New York, NY and Charleston, SC and serves clients in the automotive, finance/banking, healthcare, education, retail, manufacturing and travel industries, among many others. In 2011, Levelwing was named the 481st Fastest-Growing Private Company in America by Inc. magazine, having been recognized for the second consecutive year on its prestigious Inc. 500|5000 list.
Today, Parker works from the Levelwing headquarters in Charleston and speaks across the country at digital advertising industry events and conferences, as well as leads the company’s overall directional activities. Having begun his career in Internet media in 1995, Parker is recognized as an industry authority; a featured speaker at conferences and events around the world, his writings have appeared in various publications, including syndication to WSJ, Fortune and Entrepreneur. He is an Executive Committee Board Member for the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, a past VP of the Board of Directors – 212NYC, the nation’s largest organization for digital media professionals. In addition, Parker was named one of the Top 100 Most Inspiring People in Life Sciences by PharmaVoice Magazine, and in 2011, received an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Award for North & South Carolina.
Parker grew up in Nashville, TN, and following graduation from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Healthcare Administration, he began his career with Fortune 500 Company Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation. There, Parker helped to build the company’s digital media efforts into one of the largest and most successful of its kind among all US Corporations, including recognition as having built the leading consumer health website on the Internet.
After Columbia/HCA, Parker worked for America’s Health Network, a fledgling cable health network. During his time there, he launched the Internet division, including a series of live streaming events such as the first live-birth on the Internet (still considered one of the leading streaming video efforts of all-time), thrusting AHN into mainstream and growth from 15MM households to 40MM+, leading to acquisition by News Corporation.
Next, Parker went to start-up Medscape and launched HealthWatch by Medscape in conjunction with CBS. Finally, prior to Levelwing, Parker worked at iVillage, again assisting to build out extensive Internet media-related efforts for the company. Steve has been part of two Fortune 500 Corporations and two separate start-up IPO’s.

Jeff Adelson-Yan

Jeff Adelson-Yan is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Levelwing, a firm that creates digital marketing and business intelligence solutions, mining and analyzing data to help businesses market and operate with greater clarity and profitability. Adelson-Yan is deeply versed in digital strategy and media including search engine marketing, organic search optimization, social media, web analytics and data mining. Recognized as an industry authority, Adelson-Yan has been a featured speaker at conferences and events around the world and his writings have appeared in various publications. He is a member of the Ad Council for the Association of Downloadable Media, Advisory Board Member for OPEN from American Express, and is a certified Google Adwords Professional. In addition, Adelson-Yan was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2011 (regional winner). He holds a B.S. in Psychology from Western Kentucky University where he serves on the Professional Advisory Committee to the School of Advertising and Public Relations.
Adelson-Yan began his career in 1997 working at various dot-com start-ups including Coolsavings.com (now Q Interactive), a pioneer in the online couponing and lead generation space, and Yo!, a company specializing in collaborative filtering technology, the process of aggregating and filtering vast amounts of online information, identifying patterns and trends to make automatic real-time predictions based upon the interests of others similar to the “user.” Adelson-Yan has been a part of the many sides of both the dot-com boom and bust, and has remained passionate about the space, its development and growth, obstacles and innovations, and the continued future of this powerful and ever-expanding medium.
